Blade’s success showed Hollywood that there was an adult audience for superhero movies and that people were ready for a more mature take on beloved comic book characters. In my opinion Blade is probably the best series of movies based on a Marvel hero. Sure part three is no where near as good as the first two but it’s definitely better than Thor or Iron Man 2.
